LSW Engineers Arizona, Inc. is a consulting engineering firm specializing in the design of mechanical, plumbing, electrical and technology systems with a 70+ year history of providing reliable and energy efficient design solutions for various building types, such as educational, medical, institutional, mission critical, aviation, and commercial buildings. We are currently seeking mechanical engineers for our mechanical department in our Phoenix, Arizona office. Description:​

Assist the design team in either electrical or mechanical systems modeling for construction design projects. This position requires interaction with the firm’s project team members (designers and engineers from the mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and technology systems disciplines) to identify modeling requirements in order to meet the project needs. Demonstrate a trustworthy presence through your professionalism, demeanor, and technical knowledge of Revit. Responsibilities:​

Apply Revit/AutoCAD modeling skills and knowledge to produce accurate and timely project documents. Adhere to established company Revit/AutoCAD standards and continue to develop improved workflow within their team. Support the project design team in coordination and completeness of design documents. Responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate with designers on project requirements and input content into Revit models and AutoCAD drawings.

  • Seek for workflow optimization and improvement.

  • Produce construction design documents using Revit and/or AutoCAD.

  • Develop knowledge of the mechanical or electrical systems modeled. 

 

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Working knowledge of current versions of Revit and AutoCAD (coursework is acceptable).

  • Ability to apply logic, reasoning, and organizational skills to workflow.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work well within a team structure.

  • Ability to learn & grow professionally.

  • Pre-employment Revit software evaluation.

  •  Demonstrate a strong work ethic.
