PRE-OP/PACU EXPANSION AT HONORHEALTH DEER VALLEY MEDICAL CENTER

After a recent surgery department expansion, the center was experiencing an overflow of patients in the pre-op unit. LSW renovated and expanded the second-floor pre-op and PACU departments to provide additional capacity and improve workflow. The LSW team was tasked with keeping half of the unit operational during construction because the surgery department needed to function uninterrupted.

The entire department was reconfigured through a multi-phase project that included the replacement of lighting, upgrading power to current codes, and the addition of a new air handling unit.
