RINCON HOSPITAL AT TUCSON MEDICAL CENTER

In the outskirts of Tucson, LSW undertook a project providing mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and technology design services for a new hospital. The hospital aimed to complete the medical campus, accommodating various departments.

From the Emergency Department with a 3-bed Observation Unit to the Surgery Department and Medical Surgical nursing units, the design prioritized functionality. The Women’s Center on the fourth floor offered LDRP suites and a C-Section suite, while essential facilities like the Laboratory, Pharmacy, and Imaging department supported patient care. Additionally, the hospital featured kitchen/dining areas, public spaces, and a central utility plant housing chillers, boilers, and emergency generators for operational needs.
